Bivvit Benchmarks

Bivvit Benchmarks

We’re building a clearer picture of residential development performance using actual completed-project records.

Bivvit is currently building its dataset. We will publish anonymized observations and benchmarks only when the underlying project sample is sufficiently useful and comparable.

In development

A benchmark should help a builder make a better comparison.

Bivvit does not publish a market benchmark simply because a number can be calculated. The underlying projects must be sufficiently comparable for the number to be useful.

Future publication standard

Every future observation needs context.

When Bivvit can publish limited observations, each observation should show what the number represents and what it excludes.

  • Sample size
  • Geography
  • Project type
  • Time period
  • Metric definition
  • Median or average distinction
  • Important exclusions
  • Date last updated
